| | Hire the Attitude Train the Skill 
Imagine this - a pilot is so focused on the landing gear of the plane that he is flying not working, that he fails to notice the fuel gauge. He has such a temper that his co-pilots say nothing about the low fuel. The planes crashed and all on board are killed. Understanding the behaviours, attitudes and emotions of individuals is key to growing your business because these have an impact of the culture of organisations and by the way - your company is no exception to this. If you "hire the attitude, train the skill" as I have been saying for many years your employee management should be a whole lot easier. - Would you really put an employee who has a record of being rude to people, handling customer services calls? I think not.
- Would you really put an employee who deals with the technical side of website design in charge of a team when you know that they prefer to work alone in a technical field? I think not.
So, what can you do to ensure that your employees understand their behaviours and the impact that this has on other employees and what can you do to ensure that the people you employ possess the right behaviours and attitudes for the work and the company?
